I am a native English speaker with an eye for detail and an understanding of how articulation and clarity make a document stand out. My experience in the financial services industry has provided me with the opportunity to read as well as produce reports and as a result, I can identify when a piece of text is telling a story and when content actually adds value to the reader. This experience will enable me to proofread and edit a document thoroughly and tell what it needs in order to appeal to its audience as well as elicit the necessary reaction. Also, I can identify errors, omissions and ambiguity. I enjoy the process of improving the quality of communications, have a strong work ethic and take pride in completing assignments to a high standard. I am also willing to rewrite text as long as it is agreed beforehand. I have experience of transcribing audio files both at work and at university. At university, I transcribed recorded interviews for both my undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. Due to the fact that I am a native English speaker, I can detect nuance in conversations. This experience will also enable me to subtitle videos excellently. I look forward to helping you communicate your ideas in the best possible way.
