• Responsible for positioning the HR function and ensuring HR practices, Processes, Policies & Systems, Hiring & Recruitment are followed as per the IHG standards. The other main duties are as follows: • Being responsible for the HR Monthly reports i.e. IHG Monthly HR Metrics, Owners Report, Internal HR Reports, Nationality and Gender, etc. • Maintaining the Taleo System and our vacancies online • Overseeing the recruitment activities ensuring that it is conducted in a proper procedures • Reviewing and monitoring new hires and status change requests according to the Manning Budget • Assisting the DHR in preparing the Manning Budget for the hotel • Assisting the DHR for yearly Salary Survey • Assisting the HOD's with recruitment needs, selection and employment • Conducting interviews with candidates for colleague through to Job Band 5 roles in all departments to ensure quality people • Conducting Exit interviews and provide opportunities to act on feedback. • Coaching and counseling colleagues as appropriate • Handling disciplinary meetings and investigations in line with company guidelines. • Assisting with the implementation of effective internal communication tools within the Human Resources team. • Monitoring HR indicators (monthly, YTD, etc.) to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement. • Interpreting UAE's Labor Law, to ensure observance of all company and regulatory requirements and provide advice to management and colleagues regarding the employment relationship. • Creating innovative solutions to HR team challenges and obstacles - to ensure we are working efficiently and to the very best of our ability. • Assisting the Housing issues and implementations of Housing rules & regulations • Overlooking the HR Operations (e.g. Visas, Housing Facility issues, Training, Vacations, etc.) • Actively organizing internal events for colleagues • Ensuring Action Plans are put in place after the hotel’s Engagement Survey or Pulse Survey • Providing opportunities for colleagues to discuss Employment issues, Career Planning and personal issues with a view to increasing job satisfaction and improving performance. • Providing opportunities for colleagues to discuss Employment issues, Career Planning and personal issues with a view to increasing job satisfaction and improving performance. • Proper Tracking of the Performance Reviews Appraisals of colleagues as well as the under Probation colleagues
